Brush Strokes

I’M FREAKING OUT. I just achieved a major breakthrough in wet paint / brush stroke emulation in Photoshop. This image was painted with a single brush in about a minute. It’s just like moving a brush through wet acrylics - pushing the paint around with the bristles when applying more pressure, and blending with a softer touch. This seriously might be the most useful breakthrough for me in my 10+ years of Photoshop brush experimentation, in terms of replicating how real paint looks, without resorting to any special techniques or workarounds. I have to go to bed immediately, or I’ll just stay up all night toying around with this new brush … stay tuned. I’m going to be adding this to my Megapack really soon, people. http://kylebrush.com
