I'm way overdue for an update. I'm in a band with two of my best friends. Last year, we finished an album with Paul Meany (MUTEMATH,) and everything surrounding the making and releasing of the album, merch, etc. was all how WE wanted to do it. It was an incredible experience.
Unless you're an artist on a label, you don't often get to create and sell the kind of work you yourself would want to have if you were a fan. When we went to Kickstarter, we knew we wanted to create products for our backers that we ourselves would want to own.
In the posts to come, I'll be sharing more details about this project. I'm pretty proud of the work we did, and I can't wait to dive in a little deeper into how this stuff was made.
