Cleartext app icon
Cleartext is a text editor that allows only the 1,000 most common words in the English language.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with the app, but also having some issues with the dock icon. The .icns that ships in the package doesn’t work, so I was stuck with the ugly OSX default icon. Even if it did work, Cleartext’s icon makes heavy use of a radial gradient. That doesn’t jive with the ultra-flat Zion icon pack I use.
So I made my own Cleartext app icon. As you can tell from the screenshot, I boiled the app’s function down to its most minimal representation. The proportions of the line and highlight are roughly equal to that of “Clear” and “text” – fittingly, “text” is not one of the app’s whitelisted words.
