Hand Lettering Happy Hour

This week, I'll be leading a hand lettering (and calligraphy) workshop / happy hour here at the IBM NYC Studio. To advertise for it in a way that would stand out amongst the other office posters here, I created a series of 3 pencil drawings based on the hand-painted, neon signs you see on old hotel lounges. Then, I used a wide-tip marker to write the date in a couple of calligraphic styles, and overlayed the two into 6 poster combinations and a gif to share via digital channels.
