I’ve just published today a new project that i’ve been literally cooking for a long while! “Gourmate – Rethinking the Cooking Experience”.

Gourmate is a native iPad app, that will become your personal sous chef. Helping you before, during and after cooking any of our recipes, so that you can focus on nothing else, but cooking. Forget all the overwhelming questions when cooking a new recipe, instead: get cool recipe suggestions from people like you, no need to memorise a recipe – we’ll guide you through all the steps, even give you tips to improve your cooking, and much more... btw, all while cooking hands free!

For this project I’ve developed the full experience from scratch; starting with user research, following up with setting the grounds for a solid interaction design, giving it further tweaks within the user experience, and crafting a “delicious” user interface. On top of that, a couple of colleagues and myself, have worked on the beta version, so that you guys can test it.
