Secret Falls

A process shot where I was able to capture a handful of the steps taken to create Secret Falls, a new piece for my Hideouts collection. This along with my other limited edition prints will be available on my new shop, due to launch next month!

You can see from these milestones how the work develops based on decisions made at each stage. For example, I felt post sketch and color adjustment that the tree to the left would be better positioned lower and behind the rock rather than on top of it, and that the piece would have more depth if the path was broken up in to two separate mounds rather than one constant wave.

I do love how these things come together!
