Design Practice - Web Magazine

I've always thought that online magazine websites never look as good as the actual magazines; they allow people to purchase an online version of the actual magazine, in a old-school page-turner format. Why not just design websites in that style? Then it's interactive. Here I've explored ways of taking inspiration from that offline magazine design style and incorporating it into the web.
