Immigration Place Australia logo concepts

Concept development for a line art styled logo for Immigration Place Australia. Given the Australian political climate ("Stop the boats" etc) it was difficult to come up with non-offensive or politically inflammatory imagery. The subtle water, boat and anchor motifs had to be very thoroughly integrated with other imagery indicating growth, journey, and travel.
