Google Calendar Zoom

Google Calendar is by far my favourite calendar app - lots of great features packed into a clean and beautiful interface. Great job @Google!

Generally I use the 3 day layout which makes scheduling simple and easy to use. However, in this view I often find myself scrolling up and down to check if I have any plans in the morning or evenings, as the entire day cannot be seen. I mocked up a couple of solutions that could begin to address this.

The first shows a glimpse of the appointment card going off screen, indicating there is additional content to scroll to. The second allows a user to pinch and zoom to fit more content onto the screen.
