Designing Kiwi Quest was all about capturing the essence of New Zealand’s breathtaking landscapes and adventurous spirit. I started with mood boards inspired by NZ’s rolling hills, vibrant sunsets, and the free-spirited vibe of travelers. The UI focuses on immersive visuals, with a clean layout that lets the imagery speak while guiding users seamlessly through their journey. Bold typography paired with earthy tones creates a sense of exploration, while intuitive navigation ensures a delightful user experience for every explorer.
Building an Explorer’s Gateway
The Kiwi Quest design process was driven by the goal of blending functionality with inspiration. I aimed to create a digital guide that feels as adventurous as a real NZ trip. Starting with user research, I mapped out key touchpoints for travelers—booking, exploring, and gear prep. The interface combines a modern, minimalistic aesthetic with vibrant accents, reflecting New Zealand’s natural beauty. Interactive elements like the map and explorer stats engage users, while a responsive layout ensures accessibility across devices, making trip planning a breeze.
