Sout al Khaleej Radio
Sout al Khaleej is an on air (DAB & 558am) online live Arabic radio station broadcasting from Qatar throughout the Arabian community in London and the UK. With is broad mix of Arabic music, Arabic Poems and Prayer, Middle Eastern and Gulf news, Sout-al-Khaleej is not only one of the most popular Arabic radio stations in the Gulf today but is fast becoming a firm favourite amongst the many thousands of listeners across the London Arab community.
The station first launched in Qatar in 2002 broadcasting on 100.8 FM and quickly became one of the most popular stations in the Gulf and the Middle East. Listeners in the region love its great mix of Arab pop, concerts and poetry as well as the major music events the station is involved with and organises. Sout al Khaleej encourages the arts and is always looking to promote and encourage new arab musicians and poets from across the World.
Sout al Khaleej started broadcasting its Qatari live radio service across London in early 2009 and it's already proving a hit with the tens of thousands of Arabs who live in the city and who visit the UK capital through the year. A walk down the Edgware Road passing the shisha bars, clothes shops and restaurants, taking in all the wonderful cultural sights and sounds from the Arab World you might just catch a snatch of Sout-al-Khaleej playing out from a café.
