This project was an exciting one, doing something for a big brand like Snapchat. I knew it was an opportunity I couldn't miss.

I worked on animating the presentation panels for the Snap AR AWE event, covering everything from the host and speaker intros to informatics, titles, and micro-animations for Snap Studio app features.

Tight deadlines and a few late nights meant the timeline wasn’t as long as it ideally should have been. I worked around the clock to stay on schedule, ensuring I could implement changes and feedback efficiently throughout the corporate chain of command.

The challenge here was bringing the slides to life with fluid animation while keeping the motion clean and engaging. To add subtle energy, I introduced a gentle pulsing effect in the background—like a heartbeat—making the visuals feel more dynamic without being distracting.

The Titles

This ended up being scrapped, but I love how fun the animation was to make and the result. The Snapchat team thought it was too much. but personally it was my favorite part of all of this.

A word

It's been one of my biggest projects; it felt like I wasn't good enough to be doing work for Snapchat, but I quickly realised that self-doubt can blind us from seeing how capable we are, and it's proof that I can do a lot more with the opportunity.
