Initial sketches of logo options that were proposed in the first presentation for Beed Studios

These are the initial sketches of logo options developed for Beed Studios, a studio from Saudi Arabia producing original films with a unique cultural voice. The company specializes in original content creation, entertainment, and movie/series production.

All these logo variations were created based on the same brief. This was my first experience designing a logo identity in Arabic, where "Beed" was written in Arabic instead of English. Our goal was to create a symbol that subtly incorporated the word "Beed" in an abstract way, making it function both as a recognizable wordmark and a distinctive symbol. It shouldn’t feel like a typical wordmark or type but should have the essence of a symbol. Out of these eight concepts, seven integrate "Beed" in an abstract way as a wordmark with a symbolic feel, while one is purely an abstract symbol.

This is only the first stage of exploration—many more concepts have been developed since, leading to the final design choice. All these hand-drawn sketches are from the first presentation, showcasing the early stages of the design process.
