Science Conference Poster
Scientists get together in conferences showcasing their work through posters that summarise their current studies. Those need to grab your attention and invite you to read through it, evoking interest from fellow scientists. Keeping them scientifically correct, informative and yet not too crowded is a challenge, especially when presenting complex studies. This poster consists of a 3D animation, an illustration and some vector graphics. It has been criticised for its scientific correctness as the parasite seen within the shrimp would not be present in the shrimp in adult form as seen above. However, in my opinion provocation is also attention grabbing and attracts exactly those people with knowledge in that specific field - the ones who are most likely interested in your work. From a designer's point of view I consider it a preference of either sticking to old traditional values versus something new with interpretational freedom.
