Custom animation for a client's review of The Wedding People

The stars really stole the show for this Instagram review post. My client wanted a visual design that went beyond the typical Canva posts for her review of The Wedding People. To make the content custom, I started by exploring wedding and nautical themes from the book, but couldn’t land on a design that felt right.

That is, until I remembered an incredible animation I've worked with where shapes rise from the bottom and fade out.

I felt that star shapes would work here since it's a review and my client really liked this book. That spark led to the final look, where I made the stars come from both the top and bottom, added review text randomly to some stars, and adjusted the colors to match the book. I also took screenshots of the background where the stars only appear from the bottom to make the quotes stand out better and made small edits in Canva. This was an image of one of my client’s favorite quotes from the book, placed after the video in the post. Each following image has a unique background that I screenshotted since the design changes every time due to its inherent randomness.
