Longboard Tour Schedule — Gold Coast

Here’s a little something I whipped up in Figma using a chill dark surfing colour palette. I was inspired to create a simple schedule table with minimal colours—nothing too crazy.

One cool thing I tried here was the background remover plugin by Icons8, which is totally free! I gave two other plugins a shot, but they were either tricky to use or locked behind a paywall. I also used the 'Invert Color' plugin, which seriously makes Photoshop feel like a thing of the past. To make the white logos pop on any background, I used the 'Screen' layer blend mode.

Honestly, this was more of a plugin test than anything else, seeing if I could branch out from my usual UI design routine and create something a bit different.

The theme was actually inspired by Cyclone Alfred hitting the Gold Coast and surfers going wild over the big swells. I thought, why not channel that energy?
