Abstract Logo Development

Preview of my design process for a logo icon I'm designing for a new client. It's deliberately very abstract, but is based on the biblical story in John 13 of Jesus taking a bowl and towel and washing his disciples' feet. If you can't see it at first, the towel has two stripes and is draped over the left side of a bowl with a single stripe. See it now?
