Storm Drain Art Project
I submitted this illustration to a call for artists in Orlando.
The Mills 50 district (one of the cooler places to hang out around these parts) is allowing artists to paint their storm drains. The submissions had to include the Mills 50 logo and the phrase "only rain down the drain."
For those that live in Orlando this may make more sense when explained. The dude is a typical denizen of the Mills 50 district. The dog is the dog from Will's Pub (a local bar/music venue) and the rooster is the rooster from Black Rooster Tacqueria (a new taco joint that just opened).
I'll know by the 14th of March whether or not I get to paint this sucker in real life. Wish me luck!
