Super rough sketch to vector in under an hour

One of many methods of vectoring type, this particular style allows me to take a super rough sketch to final vector in under an hour. The key is the clean up at the end which only takes about 10 minutes.

1. Start out by penning the thicker strokes of the letters.
2. I then connect them with a stroke set to a uniform weight
3. Outline the strokes to turn them into shapes.
4. Select all and use Pathfinder tool option ‘Outline’ to make it all into one shape.
5. Select the points where the curves are irregular where the shapes and strokes have merged, and use the Smart Remove tool to clean the line.
6. Continue for all curves that need cleaning, and voila! You’re done. 😊
