The Product
Cinemart Cinemas is a cherished independent theater in Forest Hills, Queens, renowned for its mix of premier releases and art house films. As the area’s longest-standing cinema, it serves as a cultural hub for local entertainment.
With the introduction of the Cinemart Cinemas website refresh, the goal is to provide users with an efficient platform to easily access movie trailers and reserve tickets. A key focus of this project was ensuring accessibility, making sure all users could fully enjoy the website features.
The Objective
The objective was to design an intuitive website that streamline the process of watching trailers and purchasing tickets.
By simplifying the user journey, we aimed to save time and make the movie-going experience more enjoyable and efficient for users.
My Role
As the sole UX/UI designer, I was responsible for guiding the entire user experience design process for both the Cinemart Cinemas app and website.
From initial research to final deployment, I oversaw all stages of design, ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for all users.

Designing wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize the user journey.
Iterating on designs based on user research.
Creating high-fidelity UI designs that adhered to a clean, minimal aesthetic.
Used Gen AI Ethically: Leveraged generative AI to ethically accelerate the empathize and define process, eliminating repetitive tasks and enhancing research efficiency.
The Problem

The challenge was to accommodate the preferences of on-the-go users who wanted a quick and easy way to watch trailers, view showtimes, and reserve tickets.
The website had to be intuitive, accessible, and functional to meet their needs efficiently.
