Character Concept Children's Book

A Children's book character concept sketch and painting done quite recently. I started out with a digital sketch much rougher than the left and cleaned up the line work and then modified the size of the body to make it look like a 8-10 year old boy, then I modified the eyes again-- sometimes clients are particular about the eyes from what I've experienced! I also included the first roughs I sketched and two other characters. What do you think?
