This was part of a week long design challenge. What do you think?
These changes provide users with a better understanding of what this app does as well as gets the user meditating faster. Users can now explore before immediately having to Sign Up. Adding clear descriptions of core functionality and clear directions on what to do next are now the focus. The goal state is now to play your first meditation and not to reach the timeline screen.
I believe this will result in higher conversions because users will understand the app before being asked to create an account and will be meditating faster leading to a more positive first experience. I have also reorganized information, such as combining email and Facebook Sign Up into one and have removed the redundant modals.
