TIPCO Asphalt

Objective

Create an easy-to-use product ordering system for TIPCO Asphalt, primarily catering to contractors and construction companies responsible for infrastructure projects such as highways and airport runways.

TIPCO Asphalt is a B2B business project that focuses on contractor groups. The company's main product is asphalt. There is a specific target audience within the contractor community.

The project began with the existing Oracle ERP system used by TIPCO Asphalt. However, the actual communication channel between customers and sales personnel was found to be the Line application, a popular messaging app in Thailand.

The project was divided into two main parts. The first part involved understanding the process of ordering asphalt, including the necessary documents, ordering steps, and certification documents required for government project deliveries. The second part focused on identifying the issues arising from customer-side orders and how to streamline the ordering process.

SUFFIX conducted user experience (UX) research, gathering feedback and analyzing it to inform the design and development of an application within the Line platform. This app was designed to maximize user benefits and simplify the ordering process. In terms of technology, APIs were integrated to connect Line with Oracle and other systems used by TIPCO Asphalt, ensuring seamless communication and operations.
