Indonesia’s Heroes’ Day
Created to commemorate Indonesia’s Heroes’ Day, this illustration project honors national figures such as Cut Nyak Dien, Kapitan Pattimura, and Tuanku Imam Bonjol. Designed as a visual element for a web concept, the illustrations are then animated into motion graphics to simulate an interactive webpage.
Utilizing the engraving technique, the illustrations are meticulously rendered with detailed cross-hatching in a blue-and-white palette. Each hero’s portrait is accompanied by a brief historical account of their struggles, ensuring their stories remain remembered and appreciated.
