Bagelia | Shockingly good bagels

This mock concept started as a very elegant and luxurious bagel shop. Along the way, I decided there was enough overly serious bagel shops and went a different direction.

The shape of a bagel is... unique, to say the least. The hole in the center, that isn't quite a circle or an oval was the biggest hurdle I needed to overcome when sketching the mascot. Ultimately, I found the shape when "tweaked" slightly, made the bagel looked surprised.

One of the mainstays of the restaurant industry is brand recognition. Whether it stems from a logo, mascot, or tagline may vary, but the overarching story is the same. The uniforms of their employees are engraved in the minds of their customers, both good and bad.
