Medica Logistics "In Numbers"
Hi Dribbblers! 🦌
Numbers can be boring… but not if you bring them to life! ✨
For Medical Logistics, we needed to highlight key numbers in a way that was engaging and offered a unique experience. I wanted to break away from the typical static layout and create something visually striking.
💡 Design Focus: Since the project revolves around medical services, I decided to incorporate 3D virus models that move and shift as you scroll - bringing the section to life and making it stand out from the competition.
🚀 Challenge? Making sure the 3D elements translated smoothly from design to live site. The first iterations weren’t perfect - the textures and motion didn’t behave as expected. I worked closely with developers, tweaking the model, textures, and rendering settings until everything looked and moved just right.
Initial idea:
👉 Fun fact: The original concept for this section didn’t feature viruses at all—it was actually based on blood cells! The idea was to have a lot more of them floating around, creating a dynamic effect.
So why did we scrap it? Two main reasons:
1️⃣ Performance – too many 3D models could have impacted the site's efficiency.
2️⃣ Colour scheme – blood cells naturally lean toward red tones, which clashed with the mint-green aesthetic of the page.
