Sun/Line Logo Presentation

Our mission was to create a stylish and sustainable aesthetic to accurately portray Sun/Line’s brand values. Sun/Line deserves a clean, simple icon all its own. Our rich inspirational fodder led to a stylish solution with textured meaning. 

The square enclosure represents “dry” per the laundry symbol library. The “s” shape in the icon simultaneously represents the “S” in Sun/Line and the terminator line on the Day & Night World Map. It can also be loosely interpreted as clothing blowing in the breeze, a slack clothesline, or even an isobar indicating wind on a weather map.

The innovative design gives the icon a timeless aesthetic and hints at the minimalist nature of the brand.
