The Mechanics of Time Travel

For the latest full-length release by electronic musician Chase Dobson, I was approached to create a design that integrated photography he had taken while touring. His album's aesthetic leaned heavily on detuned analog synths, emphasizing nostalgic, neon warmth. The artwork needed to both embrace this warmth and reflect the album's title. The final design used typography as a graphic element to express the concept of moving forward from—or returning to—a single moment in time.
