Chef's Hand Custom Typeface

I'm thrilled to finally share one of the biggest projects of my career: designing a custom typeface for Unilever Food Solutions! 🤩

The brief was to capture the essence of a chef's handwriting – the kind you'd see on labels and containers in a bustling professional kitchen. We wanted to bring a genuine human touch to their brand identity, and the result is "Chef's Hand."

This project involved a lot of Sharpies and brush pens! It was crucial for us to create the initial designs by hand, ensuring an authentic feel before digitizing and refining the font. We wanted to stay true to the hands-on spirit of the brief. A huge thanks to Stefan Kunz, whose project management and lettering skills were invaluable in bringing this typeface to life and also Catch A Fire Agency for bringing me in on the great project.
