Why?

I’ve been using the Tummoc app for a while now, and it’s been a lifesaver for booking Day Passes, Weekly Passes, and Monthly Passes. But here’s the thing—I noticed a small gap that could make our lives even easier!

From January 2025, BMTC ticket prices are increasing by ₹2-4. While it’s a small change, it’s causing a big problem: lack of change! 🪙How many times have you struggled to pay exact change or waited for the conductor to return the balance? I know I have!

Even though BMTC has introduced UPI payments in ordinary buses, I thought, why not take it a step further?What if we could use the Tummoc app to scan a QR code and pay for single tickets? No more worrying about change or cash! 💳

Here’s my idea:

🚍 I travel 30 km (round trip) about 10-12 days a month by ordinary BMTC buses.

🪙 A Day Pass isn’t always cost-effective for me, so paying per trip is cheaper.

💡 With a QR scan feature in Tummoc, we could make payments seamless and hassle-free!

As a UI/UX Designer, I took the initiative to design some screens for this feature.
