WeCare (Women Career Return)
Project Overview
WeCare is a platform designed to help women who have taken a career break return to work with flexible schedules. It offers features such as skill assessments, training recommendations, and a supportive community to help them rebuild their careers.
Problem Statement
Women returning from a career break struggle to re-enter the workforce due to age limitations, family responsibilities, and outdated skills.
They seek flexible jobs but feel uncertain about the right field and lack confidence in training dominated by younger participants.
Additionally, many training programs are irrelevant or not directly linked to job opportunities.
Goals
To help women returning from a career break re-enter the workforce with the flexibility they need by providing a platform that connects them with relevant training, skill assessments, and suitable job opportunities.
My Role
As the Team Lead, I coordinated the team throughout the entire design process, from research to prototyping. Every team member contributed to each stage, and I ensured that the workflow remained efficient and aligned with the project goals.

UX Process
Research
We began by understanding the challenges faced by women on a career break when returning to work. In addition to reviewing articles and industry reports, we analyzed similar platforms to see how they support their users.
Pain Points
From our research, we identified key issues, including age limitations in recruitment, lack of confidence in training programs, and difficulty finding flexible jobs that match their skills.
Affinity Diagram
We categorized our research findings based on common patterns, making it easier to understand the connections between user challenges.
How Might We
We formulated questions to explore potential solutions, such as:"
"How might we help women rebuild their confidence after a career break to prepare them for re-entering the workforce?"
Solution
We developed several solution ideas, including skill assessments, more targeted training, and a platform that directly connects users with flexible job opportunities.
Prioritization Matrix
We evaluated each solution based on impact and feasibility, selecting the most effective ones for implementation in the Wecare platform.
User Flow
We created a user flow to illustrate the steps users take when using the platform, from selecting training to finding job opportunities. This helps ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
Wireframing
In this stage, we create an initial framework design to visualize the layout of each page.
This wireframe helps organize key elements such as buttons, input forms, and navigation, ensuring the app's structure is clear before moving on to the visual design stage
UI Design
The homepage design is focused on guiding users to the first step, which is completing the skills test. Only after finishing the test will users gain access to relevant training.
Additional navigation will appear in the dashboard once the test is completed, allowing users to access training materials and career opportunities. This ensures a structured flow, making it easy for users to follow each step clearly.
Development
In the development phase, we implemented the design using React and Tailwind CSS. I and the front-end team developed it with a focus on responsiveness and user-friendly interaction.
We collaborated with the back-end team to integrate features such as training recommendations into the platform.
