Unbroken Bond

I had the honor of illustrating a traffic box for the City of Boise, in Idaho. Digital painting in Photoshop. Deep-diving into traditional brush work and textures.

Located: 9th St and Jefferson Ave

My initial concept sketch was designed to abstractly depict two figures, aiming to evoke thoughts of movement, the passage of time, and connection.

After creating my concept sketch, I explored three different color options. While I do appreciate the color concepts, I was ultimately drawn to grayscale, as I rarely see traffic box art featuring a limited color palette.
