❄ I May Be Some Time – Alt Covers

Two rare alternative covers we made during the design process of I May Be Some Time.

Even for design veterans like myself, persistence and patience are critical to making important work. This cover took at least ten attempts to get right – with tens more left in the archives.

A glimpse of this is shown in the following overviews:

The artwork started very light. Only in the very final stage did we turn the lights off and plunge the scene into a darkness that matched the tone of the album.
