Into The Morning Sun

A heavy theme of samurai and therefore having a strong contrast of red, white and black. Also a lot of calligraphic or ink illustration, as these were often times associated with asian culture. In this case, japanese themed with the samurai rough illustration and red and white as part of the japanese flag. The illustration, paired with red background, draws the viewer in to take a closer look and awaking interest.

Soul Scape

Genre: Adventure, Fantasy

An adventure of three characters, exploring the surreal landscape of the mind with environments that are far more twisted and exotic than anything that exists on earth. Large and bold sans-serif font as an eye-catching element with the characters overlapping that title to make it more appealing for the viewer. In contrast, serif font for the author name and a mixture to the tag-line at the top right. More unnatural colours used to emphasize the surreal nature.

The Beekeeper

Genre: Fantasy

Story about a Bee Keeper in medieval times. That is also why the clothing is like the traditional beekeeping work cloth that was worn back then in medieval ages. Chose a background colour that would make great contrast to the beige colour of the character being the main point of interest in terms of the cover art. Font style is more for fantasy genres with serif, but still some hand written characteristics in there.
