Just finished a rebuild of my own personal site. Sheesh, I haven't done this in years! I found it an interesting process. As a designer, I deal in research, wireframes, illustrations, icons, pictures and layouts mostly. When it comes to writing copy, I do ok I guess when it's documenting a wireframe but when it's writing about my own work, I just draw a complete blank. It's funny to me how hard it has been to explain what the items in my portfolio site are. I have a feeling I will be jiggering this copy forever as things come to mind but I opted to just throw it out there no matter how much I feel I need to make everything perfect.
