Replant: From Seeds to NFTs in Sustainable Forestry

Replant World has co-designed technology with Indigenous peoples to recognize their stewardship, provide access to funding, and improve reforestation outcomes that fix our climate. Through our collaboration, ULAM LABS provided the blockchain technology that allows Indigenous communities to capture and verify tree planting via a mobile app. Replant World’s independent verification team then assesses the tree planting and turns approved captures into Tree NFTs, increasing transparency and growing investment through an NFT gallery and marketplace.
