    MOD-icon (minimalist house drawing) of Eichler Model SV-1544 home in Fairbrae neighborhood, Sunnyval

    Like my previous few posts, this MOD-icon is also for an Eichler Homes neighborhood in Sunnyvale, California, called Fairbrae. Built and designed by Claude Oakland and Jones & Emmons between 1958 and 1961, this community (and the Fairbrae Addition) consist of over 350 homes.

    This particular Eichler is a Model SV-1544 with a large garage and courtyard, built in 1960. The client had requested I add some agaves and take a couple of creative liberties on the paint colors to tie everything together.
