Social Media UI Design ( Home Feed + User Profile Page)

As a user experience designer, I often find inspiration in the apps I use daily. One of my favorite social media platforms, Instagram, became the muse for this design project.

I decided to create two screens—a home feed and a user profile—based on the older UI of Instagram. Why the old UI? Because Instagram recently updated its interface again and it made me think about how big companies continuously improve their designs to enhance the user experience.

This process of gradual improvement reminded me of the concept of Kaizen, a Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement.
