February 2024 recap

If I could erase a month, it would definitely be February. February has always been a month of awakening—a time when I realize that the year ahead might not turn out as amazing as planned. But it’s also a month of growth, acceptance, and reaching deeper levels within myself.Living in NRW, February means Carneval season—the colorful chaos, costumes, and celebrations. It’s also when my brother used to visit me, and this year marked the second of three months when I went completely vegan. At the end of February, @merisa_kcm and I escaped to Copenhagen—the city of light 💡—a trip that brought some brightness to an otherwise heavy month.For this illustration, I incorporated actual pages from my diary. I wrote a lot that month, perhaps preparing myself for something I couldn’t quite name yet.
