KoperCrabb Podcast 🦀 🌙

Part of a range of little personal projects I worked on in 2024 with the primary purpose being to experiment with skipping the 'inking' stage entirely and using my pencil sketches for my final line art. I really liked the fact that you retain a bit of the natural, visual energy that sketching in pencil brings, as well as a healthy dose of organic texture since the medium is quite transparent.

I obviously needed some subject matter for these experiments, so I mostly focussed on what I was listening to at the time, whether that was music, bands, or podcasts. For this one specifically I used the Kopercrabb Podcast (presented by Navene Koperweis and Chaney Crabb of the band Entheos) which I was listening to.

There's not 'too' much to say about the artwork, but drawing a weird three-eyed crab seemed like a fun idea at the time! ✍️
