Yearly Impact Report

For the 2024 Braven Impact Report, we pitched an idea to the client to print the report as a square booklet. This was very different than past 8.5x11 versions, but we thought it would be an eye-catching print product that also neatly parallels the interactive web experience.

We incorporated a layering effect in each portrait, creating the impression of students emerging from the page. This subtle design element emphasizes each student's presence and draws in the viewer. We intentionally played around with text alignment to create a natural reading flow, guiding viewers through Braven's impact while leading their eyes to each accompanying graphic.

Each graphic was created so that readers can quickly understand the data being presented and calls out Braven’s impact. Delicate line work draws attention to key statistics, while custom-made Braven icons enhance the visual storytelling and adapt them for each new design project.

The design of the Impact Report showcases the stories of Braven’s 2024 Fellows, while building on the foundation of Braven’s visual brand.
