My heart aches for Altadena 💔
My heart aches for beautiful Altadena and all of my neighbors who have suffered unimaginable losses.
Like so many others, my husband and I lost our home to the Eaton Fire on January 8, 2025. We left with an overnight bag, thinking we’d return the next day. Instead, we came back to ashes. Our hometown, our neighborhood, and the life we worked so hard to build, gone. We had just moved in July and got married in October.
Even in this heartbreak, we’re holding on to hope. With the love of our friends, family, and community, we’re determined to rebuild. Not just our home, but the small businesses and sense of community that made Altadena so special.
My hope is to bring this design concept into a reality one day.
Some dear friends started a GoFundMe to help me and my husband begin again. Sharing it or contributing, if you can, means the world: bit.ly/4g46TKG ❤️
