Tinder - Navigation Redesign

Hello everyone ! I recently wrote an article, "Our need to change mobile navigation habits", and I took in example the case of Tinder. It's just an UX navigation review, so no need to talk about the UI which is the same. Smartphones screens are bigger and bigger and designers do feel the need to change navigation habits but they rarely have the opportunity to do so when it comes to real projects.
