Meet my reinterpretation of the Chill Guy meme. This work is an experiment with a minimalistic style and a new visual presentation of the original idea. I wanted to add more personality and audacity while retaining recognizable details.
Process:
The work is inspired by the original work of Phillip Banks, but decided to rethink it using his own technique and accents. Here, I've focused on smooth lines, clean shapes, and a modern color palette.
Idea:
This character reminds us that sometimes the best response to the chaos around you is to stay calm, staying true to yourself. A little cockiness doesn't hurt anyone, right? 😏
