Outbound Hotels approached me to design and paint a mural for the grand opening of their new destination spot in beautiful Stowe, Vermont. After a few rounds of design concept discussion, we landed on a sketch: a celebration of the beautiful fleeting colors of late summer and early autumn.

The painting process took 10 days, and the weather was as good as perfect for it. I created some custom lettering for their slogan across the pediment of the building, as well as for the barn.

On the opening day, we put on the finishing touches while Iskra Print Collective made prints of some of the elements from the mural, among a variety of vendors and food trucks.
