As a designer, I’ve always believed that learning should be engaging, especially when it comes to something as crucial as financial literacy. In today’s world, where financial decisions shape lives more than ever, it’s crucial for younger generations, like Gen Z, to have the right tools and knowledge to make informed choices.
That’s how Talento was born. Recognizing the gap in financial education and the growing role of gamification in learning, I set out to create an app that would empower Gen Z to take control of their financial future through a fun, interactive experience. The goal? To break down the complex world of finance into bite-sized lessons delivered in a format that resonates with younger users—through games.
The Concept: Talento isn't just about numbers and balance sheets. It’s about making financial concepts fun, relatable, and practical. With dynamic interfaces, rewards systems, and gamified challenges, Talento transforms financial education into a playful journey that encourages users to level up their financial skills, one game at a time.
Why Gamification? Gen Z is the digital native generation—immersed in technology, gaming, and interactive content. I wanted to create something that would resonate with their lifestyle and learning preferences. Gamification offers the perfect blend of entertainment and education. By incorporating challenges, rewards, and progress tracking, Talento ensures that learning about money becomes a rewarding experience rather than a chore.
Design Approach: I focused on creating a clean, intuitive interface that is visually appealing and easy to navigate. The use of bright, vibrant colors and playful icons makes the experience engaging and not overwhelming. The app’s layout was designed with Gen Z's love for interactive content in mind, ensuring a seamless and immersive journey.
