Valor Logo Animation

A little peek behind the curtain at the process of building the Valor logotype.

Like any logo, we initially explored a number of different logotypes that showed a few different ways we could position and represent the brand. With a couple rounds of review and conversation with our client, we slowly refined the vision, and continued to improve and refine the mark from a functionality standpoint.

Knowing this mark would frequently be embossed in rubber and metal guided our design choices along the way. Small decisions like the angle of the cutouts, and having them be a squared off triangle as opposed to a truly pointed triangle all helped with implementation and scalability.
