Position of CTAs in cards - Better UX?

Which variant do you think provides a better experience with the CTAs?

In my opinion - considering a left-to-right reading culture, Variant A would guide the user through a three-step process: ‘Join’ -> ‘Go Back’ -> ‘Join’ to click the Primary CTA (Join).

Whereas Variant B offers a 2-step process: ‘Go Back’ -> ‘Join’. So, I’d opt for Variant B.
