Editorial: winter magic vs. human impact on nature

This is an editorial illustration for the magazine Hubertus: On one side, we love winter—the snow, cookie baking, and the joy of experiencing the magical winter landscape. On the other side, human impact on nature is significant. We are destroying habitats, and in Austria, the increasing number of wolves is often perceived as a "problem." The greater goal should be peaceful coexistence with animals and a respectful treatment of nature.
