Another illustration of Iceland.
What's really cool about the time of year that we visited is that if the sky is clear (big if), the lighting conditions all day long are perpetual golden hour. This is because the sun remains just a bit above the horizon at all times between rising and setting.
So the result is you get a lot of really warm toned highlighting on the landscape and some pretty dramatic shadows. It's such a gorgeous place.
